  • Read "The Book Of Allanisms" ~ IF YOU DARE
"Witty, Robust, Full Of Life, On The Cusp of Cute" - entering and reading the information available through this link is not for the feeble minded or weak at heart.  It is a continual work in progress documenting the sometimes strange, yet very often refreshingly accurate meanderings of my mind.

  • Visit The Best Samoyeds in The World
This is the website of Vanderbilt Samoyeds (Blair & Judi Elford), located in Millbrook, Ontario Canada.  For years they have consistently produced a definitive line Samoyeds that is famous throughout Canada, the United States and in Europe.

For us, their dogs are the epitome of the Samoyed Standard and each time we see the effortless movement of their dogs, the definition of the word "soundness" is apparent.  But their many years of well planned and painstaking completed breedings are only some of their accomplishments in our eyes.  While they breed Samoyeds as opposed to Akitas, for the entire ten years we have known them, Blair & Judi have selflessly given of their time, talent and energy to MENTOR us along the path of success in dogs.

From helping with litter evaluations, to teaching us puppy videoing techniques, to explaining the genetics of structure and the science of dog breeding, to providing constructive criticism after our inevitable errors along the learning curve, to offering us support and encouragement in the tough times and to ultimately rooting for us and our dogs in the good times, Blair and Judi Elford ~ aka Vanderbilt Samoyeds ~ have shown themselves to be shining examples of everything we want to be in dogs and we cannot possibly thank them enough.
